He started his acting career through a Malayalam film Aksharam as an auto driver. He has acted in several movies as a comedian. His first serious role was in the film My Dear Karady. He is also a play back singer. He has acted in more than 80 films in Malayalam and more than 100 in the two languages.

Kavya Madhavan (Malayalam: കാവ്യ മാധവന്‍) is an Indian film actress who works in Malayalam cinema. She made her debut in Pookkalam Varavayi (1991) as a child artist. As a heroine Kavya's debut film was Lal Jose's Chandranudikkunna Dikhil(1999) while she was in the ninth standard. It was a super hit and from then on there was no looking back. She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress twice, for her performances in the films Perumazhakkalam (2004) and Khaddama (2010).Kavya was born on September 19, 1984 in the village of Nileshwaram in Kasargod district, Kerala, India, to P. Madhavan and Shyamala. She attended Nileswaram GLP School and entered the film industry as a child artist. She learned dancing during her school days and participated in competitions. She was a Kalathilakam in a Sub District Schools Youth Festival.

In contrast with both techniques, there has been discussion of how photography can affect an autobiographical discourse.[3] Roland Barthes, for example, in his Camera Lucida, suggests how photographs can fascinate the reader like no other images when he describes photography as a "pure deictic language".

Kavya Madhavan... with her innocent looks and big beautiful eyes captured the hearts of movie goers at the tender age of 7, when she debuted as a child artist with the film 'Pookalam Varavayi' (1991). The 1996 movie 'Azhakiya Ravanan' again as a child artist gave her more public attention. However her debut film as a heroine was the super hit 'Chandranudikkunna Dikkil' (1999) directed by Lal Jose, while she was in still in school, in the ninth standard.
Born in the village of Neeleswaram in Kasargod district, this simple and down to earth girl have come a long way and made it big working with almost all the well known directors in the Malayalam industry. Trained as a dancer, she was a known name in school youth festivals and has won many prizes in competitions.
Her major films include Thenkasi Pattanam (2000), Meesha Madhavan (2002), Oomapenninu Uriyadapayan (2002), Mizhi Randilum (2003) Perumazhakkalam (2004), Anandabhadram(2005), Classmates (2006) etc. She played female oriented roles in films like Gaurisankaram (2003) and Mizhi Randilum which incidentally was a double role. But it was her superb portrayal in 'Perumazhakkalam' which fetched her rave reviews and the State award for Best actress. Her portrayal in the film could be undoubtedly termed as her career best.

Mohanlal Viswanathan Nair , is a four time National award winning Indian actor, producer, who works in Malayalam films, a part of Indian Cinema. He is one of the most popular actors in the Indian state of Kerala. He is noted for his versatility, effortless acting, unique body language and for his association with some of the best Malayalam directors and screenwriters. He was awarded the Padma Shri, one of the highest civilian honours in India, by the Indian Government in 2001. He is the current General Secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).
It is a little known fact that Mohanlal won a Best Actor Award when in the sixth standard in school, an award usually won only by the people from tenth standard. His genuine interest led him and his friends to establish a company named 'Bharath Cine Group'. On September 3, 1978 they began shooting for 'Thiranottam'. The team included Suresh Kumar, Unni, Priyadarsan, S Kumar, Ashok Kumar among others. Mohanlal played the role of a mentally challenged servant in the film. The location for shooting was in and around Mohanlal's house at Mudavanmukal and Suresh's house. Even after tiding over financial problems, the film ran into rough weather with the Censor Board and was never released.
But this setback did little to sway the hold of deep love for acting. Even when in college, he went with friends to Chennai (then Madras)-one of the melting pots for South Indian Film Industry-in search of a job as an actor. They occupied Room No 3 of the famous Swamy's lodge. This is when they came across an ad in the Malayala Manorama daily looking for a youngster for a role in a film. Unhappy with the way he looked in photograph, he declined from applying. But Suresh, aware of his natural talent, secretly sent his photograph anyway. Mohanlal received a telegram the next day and very soon was displaying his skills in front of an interview panel comprising of the likes of Fazil, Sibi Malayil and Jijo. As a result, he received the role of the villain in Fazil's 'Manyil Virinya Pookal'.
